Inside the Scene in London design studio

Nestled in a pocket of Croydon, South London, is the Scene in London design studio. This is where the founder, Samantha Foley, gets to work on her latest artworks. 

Samantha uses mixed media to create her original pieces. Playing with drawing, painting and collage to create her unique London art prints.

 

 

 

Along with using the studio for designing, Samantha also uses the space to oversee collections and check the quality of each design. 

A space to reflect. A lot of thinking goes on in this chair, and it's an important place to plan new artwork.

There's a lot of samples, test pieces and discarded designs knocking around. All very important processes in designing the final artwork.

A corner of colour - including the London Neon Print adorning the desk space, alongside textiles and products for colour inspiration. 

Samantha also uses Procreate on the iPad to design. Here is a St Paul's Cathedral design in progress.
